ISLAMABAD: As the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) prepares to march on Islamabad on November 24, Prime Minister Shehbaz urged Tuesday that the nation’s peace and development be given precedence above “protests and sit-ins.”
Speaking at the meeting of the National Action Plan’s highest committee, PM Shehbaz advised them to consider if the sit-in was beneficial to the nation.
“We must choose whether to organize long marches, sit-ins, or labor for the advancement of the [nation].”
He claimed that as a result of the combined efforts of the federation, provinces, institutions, and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General General Asim Munir, the nation’s economy was steadily moving toward stability.
“There is a connection between political and economic stability,” he continued.
