LAHORE: Asad Umar, the former leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), was moved to a hospital on Tuesday as his health worsened in an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore.
Umar’s attorney stated that his client was sent to the hospital after experiencing chest trouble in the courtroom.
Doctors performed an ECG and drew blood samples right away. His initial ECG reading is normal, and the doctors saw a decrease in his blood pressure. His condition is still being examined, and he will be under monitoring for some time.
After News received medication, the hospital authorities notified him that his health was no longer in danger. It stated that when he took blood pressure medication on an empty stomach, his condition got worse.The former federal minister may be seen being hoisted into a car by others in a video that has gone viral.
On June 9, in Karachi, he experienced back pain. He was then taken to a hospital to receive treatment.
