KARACHI: Pakistan’s second game in the Asian Hockey Champions Trophy, which is currently being played in China, concluded in a tie on Monday against South Korea.
The Green Shirts’ second matchup concluded in a 2-2 stalemate with their opponents after they were unable to hold onto their two-goal lead.
In the second quarter, South Korea scored a goal to take the lead, which they maintained until the third quarter. Up until the third quarter, Pakistan’s squad was behind by one goal and had failed to score any goals.
But Hanan Shahid’s two quick goals in the fourth quarter led the Pakistani squad to an incredible comeback.
However, Korea scored a second goal to tie the score before the game could finish.
