In order to explore bilateral security and military cooperation, Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir met with Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko, according to a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Monday.
The two leaders discussed regional concerns and looked into measures to strengthen Pakistan-Belarus military cooperation during their meeting.
General Asim Munir expressed Pakistan’s wish to further fortify defense ties while praising Belarus for its collaboration in both international and regional concerns.
In response, Prime Minister Golovchenko commended the military might of Pakistan and recognized its vital role in fostering peace and stability in the region.
He also applauded Pakistan’s counterterrorism efforts and sacrifices.
