The spectators were told to vacate by Camden Yards security when they approached the seats near the field behind home plate, according to footage that Jacob Calvin Meyer of The Baltimore Sun captured.
Two of the three fans who were photographed waving flags did so as they ascended the stairs. Before the movie concluded, spectators jeered and booed the protesters.
The Baltimore Sun obtained a comment from the Orioles.
“Those who violated our policy by holding political signs were not seated in their reserved seats, and those who were in the vicinity were inciting fans.” They were kicked out of the ballpark, according to the statement.
Although the Orioles permit signs at Camden Yards, content that is “commercial, political, and/or in bad taste, according to the Orioles’ discretion” is prohibited by the ballpark’s policy.
According to the regulations, the Orioles reserve the right to remove any banner at any moment, and those who do so risk being ejected.
We can recall instances of “Free Palestine” protests during athletic events, like the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. At a Group A match between Qatar and the Netherlands, supporters were seen waving a massive banner that crossed several sections.
