Despite having played a number of amazing parts, Robert Downey Jr. claimed that Iron Man from Marvel was his all-time favorite character.
In an interview with the Literally! With Rob Lowe’s podcast, the Golden Globes winner remarked, “I felt so exposed after being in the cocoon of Marvel where I think I did some of the best work I will ever do, but it went a little bit unnoticed because of the genre.”
The speaker went on, “[I] did myself a favor because all the things I was relying on—rather than what I thought confidence and security were—bolted away when the rug was ripped so firmly out from under me. It also made me teachable.”
Meanwhile, during the UK premiere of the picture, Robert claimed that Oppenheimer was the best movie he had ever been in.
However, the actor claims that his all-time favorite movie is 2008’s Tropical Thunder.
