In an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Khyber region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Saturday, security forces killed four terrorists, including ring leaders, and wounded two more, according to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
“Security personnel conducted the IBO on the reported presence of terrorists in the general area of Bagh,” the military’s media wing noted.
Four terrorists, including ring leaders Aziz ur Rehman alias Qari Ismail and Mukhlis, were killed as a result of the army’s successful engagement of the terrorist site during the operation.
“Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed khawarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area against the security forces as well as killing of innocent civilians,” claimed the media arm of the military.
