Legislators will entertain relatives of the six American hostages being held in Gaza on Thursday for President Biden’s State of the Union speech.
On Thursday, it will be five months since Hamas terrorists killed at least 1,200 people in Israel, 32 of them Americans.
As Israeli soldiers and Hamas militants continue their war, at least six American captives are still held captive in Gaza.
There will be a number of relatives of the hostages present in the Capitol on Thursday night. Biden is rumored to have put pressure on Israel to agree to an instant six-week cease-fire with Hamas in exchange for the release of over 134 prisoners. Thus far, Hamas has declined all of the proposals.
