DUBAI: According to a President’s House official on Thursday, President Asif Ali Zardari broke his leg yesterday night when he was getting off a plane at the Dubai airport.
The spokeswoman claimed that after the president’s examination, medics plastered his leg and sent him straight to a hospital for first assistance.
According to the statement, Zardari has been sent home, and physicians have recommended that he take a four-week break because of his bandaged leg.
Faisal Karim Kundi, the governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, prayed for President Zardari’s quick recovery from his foot injury.
“May he find fortitude and resiliency throughout this time. We hope he returns soon to serve our country, and our prayers and thoughts are with him,” he wrote in an X post.
