ISLAMABAD Pakistan has encouraged member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) to prioritize joint efforts for regional security and stability in the face of a fast changing global environment, during the high-stakes summit in Islamabad.
At the SCO Council of the Heads of Governments (CHG) 23rd meeting, he delivered the keynote presentation. “We are at a historic moment of transition where sweeping transformations are reshaping the global, social, political, economic, and security landscape,” he stated.
Leaders from eleven nations, including bitter adversary India, are present at the SCO moot, which is being held at the Jinnah Convention Centre in Islamabad. It is the highest-profile gathering that the nation has hosted in years.
