A Tesla engineer was injured by a robot that pinned him to the wall at the company’s giant factory in Texas, according to reports.The robot “pushed its claws” into the man’s body and drew blood from his back and arm, two witnesses told US technology website The Information.One witness described the engineer as “leaving a trail of blood behind him” as he plummeted down a chute used to gather scrap metal after another worker pressed the emergency stop button, freeing him from the robot’s hold. According to The Information, the event occurred while the engineer was programming the robots’ control software to cut aluminum automobile parts. While two of the robots were turned off, the third was unintentionally left running. It entangled the worker in its claws as it performed its routine movements.
