It happened on Sunday, June 2, at about 8.30 p.m. at the Leytonstone High Road overground station in east London.
British Transport Police reported that the woman was being shoved by a man as she rode her bike down a stairwell.
Then, outside the station, he gave her a blow to the face, sending her to the ground.
The individual in the CCTV photo may have information that could aid in the investigation, according to the police.
British Transport Police is asking anyone who recognizes him to get in touch with them.
