Seven-year-old Mohammed Sarim was raped before being strangled to death, according to a postmortem analysis performed on his body, which was found in an underground water tank of his family’s North Karachi residence eleven days after he vanished.
The preliminary autopsy result indicated that Sarim was slain five days ago and that his body was disposed of in the subterranean water tank of the same flat where he resided, according to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Aneel Haider of the Anti-Violence Crime Cell (AVCC).
According to the SSP’s autopsy report, “Sarim’s neck was broken, suggesting he was strangled to death.”
