In two cases involving the dissemination of false information about an alleged incident at a private college, a Lahore Sessions Court has granted PTI leader and senior analyst Ayaz Amir temporary bail till November 4.
In response to police and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) proceedings involving the purported spread of false information about the incident at the private college, Amir submitted requests for temporary bail, which the court considered.
In addition to granting bail on Rs 50,000 surety bonds, the judge called the prosecution to make its case.
More Sessions Judge Suleman Ghumman served as the hearing’s chair. Ayaz Amir personally showed up for court.
According to his attorney, Amir’s name was used to construct a phony Twitter account.
