Referring to the recent wave of terrorist strikes in Balochistan that have taken over 50 lives, including civilians and security officials, Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti stated on Sunday that’some groups’ are determined to undermine Pakistan in the name of nationalism.
The Punjabi victim was not killed by a ‘Baloch’. The ‘terrorists’ targeted citizens of Pakistan. “They are not bound by any nationality or religion,” Chief Minister Bugti declared at a press conference held in a nearby Lahore hotel.
He bemoaned the atrocity in Musakhal, stating that after being dragged from a bus by terrorists, innocent Punjabi residents were ruthlessly murdered.
“These are terrorists, not disillusioned Balochs,” the chief minister insisted, adding, “The state will stand with the oppressed, and this has nothing to do with nationalism.”
