On Thursday, two additional cases of Congo fever were recorded in Balochistan, bringing the total number of cases this year to 26 in the province.
Details indicate that both individuals’ test results were positive. The affected individual was moved to the wards, where they are undergoing treatment, and they are from Quetta and Loralai.
According to the management of the Fatima Jinnah Hospital, Muhammad Khan, 60, is a native of Loralai, while Abdul Hameed, 55, is from Quetta.
In the meantime, the hospital had also admitted two of the suspected Quetta patients. The laboratory had received the test samples from the suspected patients. 55-year-old Naeema Jan is a resident of Chaman Phatak, while Roohullah, 31, is from Hazara Town.
