With an incredible 349 for five against Sikkim in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Baroda’s cricket team broke the record for the highest team total in T20 cricket and established a new standard.
Baroda’s batting order overwhelmed the competition and put on a great show with spectacular power hitting.
Bhanu Pania took center stage as the top order, which batted first, was on fire. Four boundaries and an incredible 15 sixes were part of Pania’s incredible undefeated 134 runs off just 51 balls.
Abhimanyu Singh, Shivalik Sharma, and Vishnu Solanki all provided explosive fifties to support Pania.
Baroda set a difficult mark thanks to Solanki’s 50 from 16, Sharma’s 55 from 17, and Singh’s explosive 53 from 17.
Sikkim found it difficult to contain Baroda’s bowling attack.
