Barrister Gohar Khan, the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has issued a strong statement requesting the publication of election results based on Form 45 and accusing the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) of manipulating the results.
Khan stated that the formation of administrations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and the Federation is the PTI’s “constitutional and democratic right.” He feels the party has a clear mandate in these areas.
He emphasized the significance of protecting the constitution and democratic norms, which he says allow citizens to select their leaders. He emphasized the need of returning the seats that the PTI properly won, claiming that the party’s mandate should be acknowledged and honored.
The PTI leader advised against jeopardizing the bond between the state and the people by undermining the democratic process. He lambasted the ECP for facilitating electoral rigging and warned of the terrible implications of such conduct.
Barrister Gohar Khan decried any attempt to undermine the PTI’s decisive mandate, describing it as detrimental to Pakistan’s interests.
Furthermore, he opposed the imposition of rejected political organizations as rulers and advocated for the implementation of democratic norms by revealing election results in line with Form 45.
Barrister Gohar Khan affirmed the PTI’s commitment to preserving the mandate conferred upon them by the people, promising to forcefully protect the sanctity of the people’s vote and ensuring that the democratic process is upheld at all levels.
