KARACHI: The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) congress members have come under fire from FIFA, the global football governing body, following the suspension of the national board.
In a letter to Haroon Malik, the chairman of the PFF Normalization Committee, FIFA highlighted the PFF’s inability to enact constitutional modifications deemed necessary to enable free and democratic elections as the reason for suspending the party with immediate effect.
FIFA vehemently criticized PFF congress members for rejecting the proposed constitutional revisions in a letter obtained by Geo News, claiming that the decision jeopardized the integrity of the federation’s electoral process.
