On Tuesday, the American singer’s Eras Tour is scheduled to bring thousands of her followers, sometimes known as Swifties, to the capital of Wales.
The 34-year-old sensation swept Edinburgh last week.
After that, on Thursday, Swift gave a performance in Liverpool. Before traveling to Wales, she will give two more performances there on Friday and Saturday.
Next week, the tour’s UK leg will come to an end with performances at London’s Wembley Stadium.
After that, she will tour Ireland and then do a number of events in mainland Europe before returning to Wembley in August.
For the Cardiff event, Principality Stadium—best known as the home of Welsh rugby—will take on a new look.
The council advised the public to “plan ahead” and stated that it anticipates the M4 to be “very busy” because of the concert.
The stadium’s gates will open at 4 p.m., but the city center’s roads will be completely closed from 12 p.m. until midnight.
The council has announced that Cowbridge Road East, Castle Street, and Duke Street would remain open until 3pm.
For those wishing to escape traffic, Cardiff City Football Club will have a park and ride option available.
