It is “neither a necessity nor obligatory” for the government to pass constitutional reforms before October 25, according to Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, as reported by The News.
Speaking to a private TV channel, the former foreign minister asserted that their government’s ability to modify the constitution to implement judicial reforms is granted by the parliamentary legislative process.
According to Bilawal, a chief justice “shared his authority” with another judge for the first time in history. He claimed that this occurred under the reign of Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa.
“I respect both Justice Qazi Faez Isa and Justice Mansoor Ali Shah,” he stated.
