Sonam Kapoor, a Bollywood actress, has been appointed Dior’s first South Asian ambassador!
The actress will serve as a spokesperson for the company and the collections designed by Dior’s womenswear creative director, Maria Grazia Chiuri.
Dior announced the Bollywood actor as the representative in a statement posted on their official social media page.
“A multi talented personality, the actor, producer and fashion icon henceforth embodies the audacity, grace and elegance of Dior style, a femininity constantly reinvented,” said the statement.
It went on to say, “More than ever, this unique alliance celebrates the powerful cultural ties that have united Dior and India since the very beginning of the house.”
