The administration has declared that carefully turning in the deadly weapons will have no consequences.
Along with push daggers, samurai swords, butterfly knives, and zombie-style blades, machetes will be forbidden as of September 24.
Although Dame Diana Johnson, the minister of police, stated that the government plans to make ninja swords illegal in the future, the government did not explicitly declare their outlawship in the King’s Speech.
This action is a component of a 10-year effort to cut knife crime in half.
“Too many people have access to weapons that can lead to devastating, life-changing consequences,” Diana remarked.
This kind of weapon has no rightful place in our homes or on our streets. We will thus keep ensuring that the strictest regulations are in place to restrict the access of these deadly weapons.
Making ninja swords illegal will come right after the ambitious and committed strategy to reduce knife crime by half in ten years, which includes outlawing zombie-style blades as its first step.
It is imperative that the general populace step forward and surrender these weapons in a secure manner. We are giving individuals the opportunity to act morally, to contribute to the safety of our streets, to stop more fatalities, and to save a great number of futures.
