According to sources, Pakistan’s petroleum product prices are expected to drop on November 1.
The projected price changes would provide relief at the pumps and are in line with global market trends.
Reports indicate that the price of diesel may decrease by 3 rupees and 13 paisa per liter, while the price of gasoline may decrease by 3 rupees and 29 paisa per liter. Furthermore, it is anticipated that the price of kerosene would drop by 1 rupee and 42 paisa, and that the price of light diesel oil will drop by 3 rupees and 32 paisa.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has received a working paper from the oil industry regarding the suggested price adjustments for evaluation.
If accepted, these changes will give customers much-needed respite.
