QUETTA: Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz stated on Tuesday that Balochistan is anticipated to experience a dry and rain-deficient winter this season, even if cold weather is spreading throughout the nation and snowfall is falling in some places.
According to the weatherman, the province will see below-normal rainfall this winter, with little to no precipitation anticipated in December.
“There are no chances of rain in December and the province will experience dry and cold weather throughout the month,” stated Sarfaraz.
He noted that while there may be some snowfall and light rain in early January, overall rainfall for the month is also anticipated to stay below average.
He added that the region’s water supply and crops might be impacted by the protracted dry spell. As a result, the chief meteorologist suggested that inhabitants exercise prudence.
