Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Chairperson Rubina Khalid encouraged beneficiaries on Saturday not to trust texts from any number other than the project’s official number, which is “8171,” in an effort to prevent people from falling victim to scams.
She encouraged the beneficiaries to visit the designated payment centers to pick up their quarterly stipends and cautioned against trusting any number other than 8171, as other numbers are likely fraudulent and used to deceive innocent people, during her interactions with women at the BISP payment centers in Peshawar.
Khalid stated unequivocally that the quarterly tranche issued under Benazir Kafaalat has a total value of Rs 10,500. She counseled worthy ladies to ask for a bank account, count, and obtain their entire money.
She advised beneficiaries to report any misuse by staff members or deductions from their stipend right away by calling the BISP helpdesk at 080026477.
Khalid examined the facilities and arrangements that were made available to worthy women as well as the money disbursement process at the payment centers that were set up at Tamash Stadium and the UC20 office in Peshawar.
She gave the employees instructions to pay older women and mothers with little children first. The chairperson emphasized that when tokens are being issued, worthy ladies should be informed of their amount.
She emphasized how crucial it was to keep the office tidy and make better accommodations for worthy women.
