After dating for a year, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco decided to take their romance to the next level by getting engaged in December 2025.
The couple revealed details of their little-known proposal story during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
The Calm Down singer started off by recalling the day of the proposal, stating, “So, I’m kind of a little grumpy.” I feel like I’m exhausted. “I’m going to go hang out with my friends after this shoot,” I remarked. I suppose he then begins to say, “All right, all right.” When you arrive, we’ll see.
She nearly didn’t show up. “I really don’t feel that well,” she said. Blanco exclaimed, “I think I’m just going to stay home today.”
“Can’t we simply reschedule the shoot?”
