The true cause of Darius Rucker and Beth Leonard’s breakup has been made public.
The frontman of Hootie & the Blowfish revealed his separation from his estranged wife Beth in an appearance on Tamron Hall.
“She kept me alive.” I love and respect her so much,” Beth remarked.
I realized it was time to quit the night she just told me, in her colorful manner, “It’s time to quit.” That day, I announced, “This is over for me,” called the band, and got my own bus. The 58-year-old musician went on, “I respected her and I respected my family, so it was over.”
“I just wanted to be a better person,” he continued.
