A song that seems to be titled The Linda Martell Show alludes to the trailblazing country music artist who was the first black woman to perform at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry.
Additionally, a music named Jolene, a reference to one of Dolly Parton’s most well-known songs, and the name Dolly P, which is probably a reference to Parton, are mentioned.
This month, Parton came clean about her belief that Beyonce had recorded a version of her 1973 smash song.
“I believe she has,” she remarked.
“I think she’s recorded Jolene and I think it’s probably gonna be on her country album, which I’m very excited about.”
Smoke Hour Willie Nelson is included on the tracklist as well, however it’s unclear at first if Nelson is working on the project or not.
