On October 1, a three-day cycling event that promoted tourism in Sindh’s Gorakh Hill came to an end. The event, which was planned by the tourism department, emphasized the importance of Gorakh Hill as a top tourist destination in the region.
On September 28, the rally started near Mazar-e-Quaid, Karachi, with more than 70 people riding different types of heavy bikes and jeeps. The caravan made its way through several parts of Sindh before arriving at Gorakh Hill, its ultimate destination.
Following the rally, the Minister of Tourism gave gifts to each participant as a token of appreciation for their involvement in making the event a success.
The rally’s two goals, according to participants, were to raise awareness of Sindh’s natural beauty and to open up business prospects for the people living in Gorakh Hill.
