Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), announced on Friday the party’s nominees for speaker and deputy speaker of the Sindh Assembly.
During a meeting, Bilawal announced Owais Shah as the party’s choice for speaker of the Sindh Assembly and Naveed Anthony as the deputy speaker.
Furthermore, the PPP leader promised that Murad Ali Shah would once again serve as the province’s chief minister. He also praised Agha Siraj Durrani for his position as speaker of the provincial legislature, stating that the newly elected lawmakers would emphasize popular opinion and try to meet the needs and ambitions of the people.
Furthermore, Bilawal indicated that the PPP did not seek any ministries from the federal government, adding that the party wished to focus on the rehabilitation of flood victims in Sindh and Balochistan. He highlighted the party’s commitment to improving the education system through initiatives like the teachers’ training program.
As the PPP prepares for impending legislative activity, Bilawal Bhutto’s speech sets the tone for the party’s agenda and priorities in Sindh. The party’s nominees for key posts in the legislature, as well as its emphasis on addressing current concerns, demonstrate its commitment to serving the people of the province.
