Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) emphasized on Tuesday the importance of coming to an agreement about the selection of Pakistan’s next chief justice.
Details indicate that the members of the parliamentary committee had spoken with the former foreign minister over the phone. He had given the PPP leaders, who are on the committee, special instructions.
According to Bhutto-Zardari, “a consensus should be reached on the selection of Pakistan’s next chief justice.”
He went on to say, “The committee members should try to reach decisions by consensus.”
