ISLAMABAD: According to The News on Thursday, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, the chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), informed Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the leader of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), that he will bring up the matter of madrasa registration bill signing with the government.
When Bilawal visited Fazl’s home, he spoke about the political climate in the nation. Maulana, however, voiced worries about the president’s failure to sign the bill pertaining to madrasa registration.
The head of JUI-F insisted that the president had not yet signed the measure, even though it had been approved by both chambers of parliament.
Senior PPP politician Qamar Zaman Kaira and former prime minister Raja Pervez Ashra also attended the meeting. Senator Kamran Murtaza, Abdul Ghafoor Haideri, Maulana Lutafur Rehman, Maulana Asad Mehmood, and a former governor were among the JUI-F delegation.
