In a new interview, presenter Bill Maher stated that he is “tired” of how divided America has become and wants the country to quit “hating” each other.
The leftist comic, who criticizes both sides, made these statements on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” on Tuesday. He came there to promote his newest book, “What This Comedian Said Will Shock You.”
Maher told Fallon that he wants readers to recognize America’s polarization problem and learn to “get along” again.
“If there’s any theme to this, I would say it’s that I want to end—I’m just tired of hating,” he stated. “Half this country seems to hate the other half.”
Bill Maher cautions about the country’s divisiveness during a late-night stop: ‘I’m tired of hating.’
