Bill Maher, host of “Real Time,” claimed to speak for the “normies” in America who were fed up with the extremes on the right and left in politics.
When Maher discussed his upcoming book “What This Comedian Said Will Shock You” with news Correspondent Robert Costa, he revealed that the aim of his program is to stay away from being “tribal.”
“I represent the norms. I speak for the broad middle that is fed up with politics. On “News Sunday Morning,” Maher stated, “I don’t want to hate half the country, and I don’t hate half the country.”
Costa, who claimed to be more worried about Republicans, challenged Maher about his recent relentless attacks on Democrats.
Indeed. They’re really concerning. They are really concerning. Even more concerning,” Maher answered.
