Due to the National Database and Registration Authority’s (NADRA) service suspension, residents in Islamabad are having trouble obtaining birth and death certificates.
The Islamabad Municipal Corporation (MCI) owes NADRA Rs. 2 million, which has resulted in the suspension.
According to sources, the MCI’s failure to pay its debts has resulted in a service suspension, which has left residents unable to receive necessary paperwork for more than a week.
The service suspension is a result of the MCI’s unpaid bill, NADRA has revealed.
Residents are now experiencing delays and difficulty in many official processes as a result of the suspension of birth and death certificate services.
