The most popular cryptocurrency in the world, Bitcoin, surpassed $94,000 to hit a new all-time high.
A more crypto currency-friendly regulatory climate under the incoming government is anticipated as a result of this spike, which comes after allegations surfaced that President-elect Donald Trump’s social media company is negotiating to buy the cryptocurrency trading site Bakkt.
This year, the price of bitcoin has more than doubled. It was last trading at $92,104 during Asian market hours, and it peaked at $94,078 at the end of the previous session.
The Financial Times reports that Bakkt, a business backed by the Intercontinental Exchange, the owner of the NYSE, is close to an all-stock merger with the Trump Media and Technology Group, which runs Truth Social.
