Nisar Khuhro, the president of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chapter in Sindh and the chairman of the Sindh Public Accounts Committee, was the victim of a hand grenade attack at his Larkana residence.
Police sources report that there were no casualties or property damages during the incident. It is said that two people on a motorcycle tried to break into Khuhro’s house with a hand grenade.
But because of the tall walls, the gadget—which the police called a “cracker”—was unable to penetrate the home.
Mr. Khuhro wasn’t in his house when the attack happened. An investigation into the incident has been started by the police.
