October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness of the disease that affects millions of women worldwide.
This month is dedicated to strengthening the bonds of love, support, and unity among individuals impacted by breast cancer in addition to bringing attention to the vital need of early diagnosis and treatment.
Breast cancer survivors are using this chance to share a vital message. “I was overwhelmed when diagnosed with breast cancer due to all the negativity surrounding it,” said Atiya, one survivor. But the medical professionals at CMH Rawalpindi gave me great attention and comforted me.
Aliya Ayaz, another survivor, highlighted that breast cancer can strike women at any age and does not discriminate based on age.
