On Saturday, February 17, about 8.30 a.m., while walking his black Labrador on a distant track in the Pitilie region outside of Aberfeldy, Perthshire, Brian Low, 65, was shot.
Eventually, on Friday, February 23, a two-doctor post-mortem determined that he had been shot.
After that, a murder inquiry was opened, and the next day, Mr. Low’s family was informed.
A former senior detective told News in April that officers who overlooked the fact that he had been shot would be subject to a misconduct investigation.
Police Scotland provided an update on Friday, stating that a 75-year-old man has been taken into custody in relation to it.
