The Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) has chastised Brian McFadden for misusing his position of authority to establish unsuitable connections with the two clients.
In the context of a service that “assists women who may have experienced significant trauma during their lives,” the care watchdog labeled it as serious behavior “which caused emotional harm to the victims.”
“Deliberate and intentional” is how the SSSC described McFadden’s behavior.
In June, McFadden was found guilty of sexually abusing the two women at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
McFadden visited one victim’s room without permission, kissed her on the mouth, put his hand inside her top garments, touched her on the body, made sexualized gestures, and made sexual statements about her multiple times in July 2020.
