Speaking to the French Senate on Saturday, Dr. Ghassan Abu Sitta stated he was scheduled to speak.
“I am at Charles De Gaule Airport,” he wrote on the news. They are obstructing my entry into France. They say that the Germans prevented me from entering Europe for a year.”
Last month, he was denied entrance to Germany, where he was scheduled to speak at a pro-Palestinian conference.
He said that the “safety of the people at the conference and public order” was the reason airport police there refused to let him in.
Germany and France are part of the borderless Schengen area of Europe.
