It appears that Britney Spears responded to Justin Timberlake’s widely shared concert video in which he made a subtle jab at his ex-girlfriend.
Before performing his well-known breakup hit, Cry Me a River, on the New York stage on Wednesday night, the 43-year-old singer remarked, “I’d like to take this opportunity to apologise, to absolutely f***ing nobody.”
His remarks followed Britney’s 2002 breakup assertion that he composed the song.
“Someone told me someone was talking s**t about me on the streets!!!” the Toxic crooner said on her Instagram account on Thursday in response to the new jab. Will you go home and sob to your mother as you did the last time, or do you want to take it to court?
I apologize!
Justin’s jab comes after Britney, who was praising Justin’s new song Selfish, recently apologized to him for writing about their relationship in her novel The Woman In Me.
“I would like to express my regret for some of the topics I discussed in my book. I really apologize if I offended anyone. I truly care about you,” she had written.
