Bushra Ansari, a great artist from Pakistan, became the first female drama actor from Pakistan to be recognized with the Star of Pakistan Award at a distinguished ceremony held in a committee room of the UK Parliament.
The British Asian Society and Samara Events UK organized the event, which was hosted by MP Yasmin Qureshi, who also presented the award to Ansari.
The seasoned actor received recognition for her commitment to the business and her outstanding performance in Pakistani shows.
Ansari emphasized the importance of Pakistani dramas in promoting the nation’s culture, traditional dress, and Urdu language in the UK and abroad after accepting the award.
