With a target of 3.5 million tourists annually by 2030, Saudia, the country’s airline, has revealed bold intentions to dramatically boost travel from Pakistan.
This program is a component of the Kingdom’s larger Vision 2030 policy, which seeks to increase tourism in order to diversify its economy.
Since its inaugural flight to Karachi in 1970, Saudia has developed strong ties with Pakistan, currently operating an extensive network of weekly flights to major cities including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Multan, Peshawar, and Sialkot.
In order to support this expansion, Saudi Arabia has introduced an AI-powered Travel Companion platform, which is presently in beta testing, and intends to add 105 additional aircraft to its fleet. With the help of approved suppliers, this cutting-edge application is intended to expedite the booking process for lodging, travel, and activities.
