KARACHI: Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has reorganized the Sindh cabinet, appointing ten special assistants and three advisers to the chief minister, among other portfolio reallocations.
Late on Friday, the provincial administration sent out a notification outlining the cabinet’s changes.
The province minister for excise, taxes, and narcotics control is Mukesh Chawla. Sharjeel Inam Memon, who had previously held the portfolio, has been released from it.
Memon, a senior minister, will continue to oversee the Transport and Mass Transit portfolio in addition to serving as the province minister of information.
Former Boards and Universities portfolio holder Mohammad Ali Malkani has been promoted to the position of Minister for Fisheries and Livestock.
