In a recent promo, Matthew McConaughey and his spouse, Camila McConaughey, are acting very tongue-in-cheek.
As they promoted Pantalones Tequila, their joint enterprise, the married couple provided a recipe for the ideal pickle margarita. Appropriate for the situation, the pair showed up on the pickleball court and proclaimed Pantalones the “Official Tequila of Pickleball.”
The McConaugheys begin the commercial wearing their “tennis” whites, but as it progresses, it shows them playing on the court without pants.
We value our tequila more than our jeans,” McConaughey and Camila stated in a statement. “Tequila’s rise in popularity has led to a certain amount of snobbery developing within the category. Nowadays, tequila is spoken in the same context as wine.”
