It appears that Camila Cabello is working really hard to improve the world.
The Havana hitmaker recently spoke with Variety about her involvement in the upcoming film Rob Peace, which is based on Jeff Hobbs’ autobiography, The Short and Tragic Life of Robert Peace.
Regarding her most recent appearance at the Sundance Film Festival in 2024, the vocal sensation said, “I felt a story like this needed to be told.”
“People have told stories like this in an overly simplistic way… people coming from difficult circumstances; binary ways of looking at success and failure,” the Cinderella actress continued.
“In reality, it’s more complex than that,” she asserted.
The former girlfriend of Shawn Mendes discussed her numerous acting roles later in the conversation.
She went so far as to state that the only requirement she would have before accepting any role was, “For me, it’s really whatever makes me feel something.”
For me, it’s not that well-thought-out. The 26-year-old celebrity said, “It’s whatever feels new or challenging, or what I haven’t done before,” before drawing to an end.
For the uninitiated, Camila plays Rob Peace, the screenplay’s love interest for the protagonist.
