The monarch’s wife was genuinely opposed to the concept of becoming what she is now, despite the British tabloid media’s claims that Camilla Parker Bowles’ ultimate objective in marrying Charles was to become queen.
According to a staff member quoted in Tom Quinn’s latest book, Yes Ma’am: The Secret Life of Royal Servants, Camilla formerly detested the thought of being queen.
She would frequently ask her husband, “Can’t we get away from all this protocol?” the book claims. It’s all bollocks.
“You’re doing it [becoming queen] for me, darling,” would be the modest response from Charles, who detests profanity.
The palace staff claims that Prince William and Prince Harry adopted monikers such as Lady Macbeth and Cruella de Vil.
