When it comes to our relationship with our northern neighbor, we Americans love to take the lead. Almost everything that we can create more of or do better than our Canadian neighbors, we want to keep.
Sadly, under Joe Biden’s incompetent leadership, our hegemony is coming to an end, especially in the area of energy independence.
The Trans Mountain Pipeline extension project, which the Canadians recently completed, would greatly increase North America’s oil production and shipping capacity from Edmonton to the west coast, centered on Vancouver.
In spite of an ongoing conflict with radical environmental groups, the Canadian government wisely recognized that completing this project would help improve Canada’s international standing.
